just finished downloading it. im gonna use it on my iPhone which is locked to o2. it should work.
i have used custom firmwares before and it works doesnt matter what network you are on.
but im not sure which apps this includs. just cydia or icy and installer.
just backing up my iPhone now.
when im done with restore will let you know guys here

Worked for my 3G. It has icy on it but you can just delete it.

I tried 2 different custom ipsw's and none of them would restore. Kept getting an error when iTunes was preparing the phone for a restore. The unpatched ipsw worked just fine though. Not sure what the problem is.

In order to use a custom firmware, you must have previously run quickpwn on the computer and phone you're using now.

I have the same problem Error 1600. Tried in restore mode, DFU mode, clean resture factory 3.0, restored again custom ipsw and still the same error. My iPhone was pwned before so what is the problem?
