Upgrade 2G iPhone to 3.00 and Baseband.

I upgraded my 2G phone to 2.2.1 and lost the ability to use WIFI. Does anybody know if when I upgrade to 3.00 the baseband issue will be resolved, or is it possible to downgrade the baseband prior to upgrading?

In fact - should I do that now to make the upgrade easier when 3.00 is available.

Thanks everybody.

The Baseband for the 2G hasn't been updates since OS 2.0 last year...
It's very odd that you lost the ability to Wifi even though 3.0 shouldn't have touched it... (The baseband that is)

Send a message via Skype™ to AFone

just check the settings on your WIFI and try rebooting your iPhone.

If that doesn't do it, then try doing a restore through iTunes.

You can upgrade to 3.0 FW (if you must)
