3g jailbrake not working. error code... HELP

Everytime i use quickpwn i get an error code of 1013 when trying to jailbrake. what does it mean? Also i cant use my t-mobile sim cause itunes will not allow a shift+restore so that i can locate the file needed to jailbrake.

I have been reading multiple threads and cant find a answer or solution. What do i need to do to jailbreak and unlock my phone? I have the link to iclarfied for the step by step process.

did you upgrade to new itunes? from what I have read itunes 8.2 wont allow shift/resrore
