iPhone Earpiece suddenly very low

The call ear piece on my iPhone is suddenly VERY hard to hear from. It isn't the speakers I am talking about, but rather where you listen to when you are talking on the phone. Any ideas/fixes?

I tried a hard restart, messing with the volume. Still no help.

Well, you pretty much have 2 options.

1. Restore, see it that helps.

2. Its likely a hardware issue with the speaker.
