    Default Please Help!! Pwnage problems

Hi, ive been looking up threads and cannot seem to find answers. Everytime I plug my iphone, which has been restored to hacked 2.2.1 ipsw, into pwnage, once it prompts me to load browse for the ipsw, i find the hacked one and goto the next page with cydia. After that, it always crashes saying windows has detected a problem...how do I solve this plz help.

Get a Mac. Just kidding with you. Uninstall pwnage tool (by the way, pwnage is for mac, winpwn is for windows). Anyways, just remove it from your computer and make sure you download the software from Dev-Team Blog. Then make sure you have a legit copy of itunes' ipsw file (2.2.1). Then make sure you are in expert mode and once all of the options have been done and selected, it will prompt you to put your phone in DFU mode to restore it to the new custom firmware.

When I read up your thread, it sounds like you are taking an already pwned file to pwn again???? Just to make sure we are on the same page, you use a legit copy of itunes' iphone software to feed it in "winpwn or pwnage tool", and it will build a custom firmware from the legit one. Then, you will upload the new firmware once you phone is in DFU mode (if it has never been pwned before) or recovery mode (if it has already been pwned before). Then let it do its thing.

You can write to me via [email protected] and I will help you.
