HELP! i have no Wifi iphone 2g

i just jailbroke my iphone i noticed i have no wifi i have an E but no wifi i have my laptop connect to my wifi signal but when i try to connect from my iphone theres a little circle but my network wont show can anyone help me please and ty and im on a mac

When you go to settings > WIFI... does your network appear in the list? Is it grey'ed out? Does it connect then drop? More info!

no there is no list none of the networks appear i have tried that reset network and it still dont work

EDIT: Now i see my network but i cant connect the networkname color is black but i cant seem to connect

Go to settings on phone.Click your wifi network,then tab 'forget this network'.After enter your password again...
