****** 3g 2.0.2 wants to update to 2.2.1 *******

so here's the deal:

i have a 3g, with 2.0.2 that I jailbroke last summer. I haven't updated the phone since then, and now I'm thinking about updating the phone to the latest 2.2.1 then jailbreaking again etc. I was wondering what I need to do, I guess I need to restore the phone (is this safe) then go from there? Thanks in advance for the help

just download the latest version of quickpwn or pwnage tool which is 2.2.5 and it will b good

If you need to unlock,1st upgrade to 2.2&then make sure your baseband is 02.28.00.Then use pwnage tool 2.2.5 with custom fw 2.2.1 on a mac to preserve your baseband & yellowSnow to unlock.
If you don't need to unlock,just use quickpwn on your windows.
