Alright, new approach. (Help!)
So, i'm getting frustrated with jailbreaking and unlocking my iPhone 3G.
can i just use the most resent QuickPwn and the older firmware (2.2) to jailbreak my iPhone and keep my current firmware? (2.28.00)
once i jailbreak it, i can just use yellowsn0w to unlock it, correct?
thanks,
- Niko

yes. so long as the baseband is still 2.28 you are fine to use yellowsn0w.
2.2.0 firmware is fine.
Do NOT install 2.2.1 unless you either
Dont need it unlocked
OR
USING A CUSTOM version that doesnt upgrade baseband to 2.30Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.
