Restored iPhone 3G still experiencing problems...

Hi all,

So after my odd error with the phone receiving calls, but not answering/dialing them, I decided to restore the phone ("un-jailbreaking" it) and put my last backup into it.

I tried calling my home number, and still the same error is returned: "Call Failed." I receive calls, but when I dial a number (or pickup a call), the error is returned. My data connection is working fine.

Can someone please give me a hand here... I jailbroke with QuickPwn 2.2.5 and I have iPhone 3G SW 2.2.1 loaded, with the new carrier settings installed.

Well your problem there is that you restored from backup. If you want it clean, you need to restore and then set 'er up as a new phone.

Just make sure you have everything backed up first like contacts and what not through Address Book or whatever you use.

you can ssh in and copy your entire var/mobile/library folder

then remove anything related to the phone from that set of folders (exept recent calls

after you set it up as a new fone the next time, just jailbreak and ssh in to copy everything back
