i just got my new 3G last night and the phone had 2.2 with modem firm 2.28. pwnded the Iphone and the signal was gone. i restored the 3G and it has 2.2.1 with modem firm 2.30.03. can this be unlocked? im using windows XP with at&t service.

Yes, jailbreak and unlock are 2 different things.

Jailbreak allows you access to the file system, to "play".

Unlock, allows you to use the phone on other carriers besides ATT.

Do a full restore in Itunes and DONT sync anything to the phone.....THEN use quickpwn and THEN sync.

You have to place the phone into DFU mode for the restore.

1606 means your not connected to the internet.

ok i tried to jailbreak and was all good. but now i have no signal or edge all all nor the 3G. do i need to do something else.
