2g quickpwned doesn't get any tmobile bars. Please help.

I broke my unlocked iphone and just got a new one, but I am running into all sorts of problems trying to get it working. I used QuickPwn 2.2.5 and everything seemed to work except I did not get any bars and it didn't say T-mobile in the upper left. It recognized my SIM because it gets my phone number right. I have tried all sorts of things like downgrading my firmware and using pwnage tool. I still can't get it to work. Any ideas? Thanks!
