iPhone 2.2 stuck in recovery mode, HELP!!!

I have an iphone 3g with 2.2 version and 7.11.08 baseband which is doesn't work with yellowsn0w. Then some one told me to update the iphone by hit "shift + update " on itunes to upgrade the baseband to 2.28.0. But when I try to restore another jailbreak custom firmware it give me an unknown error 9. I retried many time but it keep give me different error like 9, 7, 13, 1605...
Now the iphone stuck in the recovery mode, everytime I turn it on, its screen showed up with an USB plug and an itunes icon
When i plug it into computer, the itunes give me a message say that it detect an iphone in recovery mode and tell me to restore. but everytime i restore it gave me errors
Do anyone have any solution for this kind of problem please help me

Have you ever jail broke your phone? and where did you get the custom firmware?
