iPhone 2.2.1 jailbreak issue
I have an iPhone 3G that I updated to 2.2.1 firmware via iTunes. I then decided to use quickpwn 2.2.5 to jailbreak it. I could not keep any apps that I tried to install after the jailbreak. If they were from the App Store then they would show up until I rebooted the phone, then they would be gone, and apps from Cydia never even showed up. I have since restored it to the original 2.2.1 firmware. Any suggestions on how to fix the issue?

I did not. I did a backup. Is that the whole issue?

Yes, the safest way and that most people recommend is to set up as a new iPhone, and sync back your stuff, then it will enter back as it should.
If you want it, get it, no matter the risk, y only live once, and gadgets are replaceable.....

I have had issues pop up ever time I was lazy and restored form backup. I now always restore as new. But here is something that may help the process be a bit less painful.

Thank you very much. I will try to set it up as a new phone this evening!
