Hey,

I have an iPhone 3G, jailbroken, on 2.2

I wish to update to 2.2.1, but i was wondering if there was a way to do it without un-jailbreaking in the middle, so i dont have to reinstall and reconfigure all my cydia apps.

Yeah i did. Easiest way to do it is to use QuickPWN. the dev team make it pretty easy and self explanatory! :-)

hmm. thats odd. windows/mac? iPhone3g/edge/ipod touch? what firmware version?

errrrr, the latest firmware as it was jailbroken but i updated thru itunes now it aint iphone 3g, 8gb, windows

well if u update it will become unjailbroken, and you would just need to rejailbreak i would think. i dont know a whole lot bout windows…
