that works i just tested it 5 mins ago just in the process of putting all my stuff back in now..

Anyone know how i can get my mobile install back up and running?i really want my cracked ipas back!

so is this 2.2.1 with firmware 02.28.00 (just downloading now) also have you got yellowsn0w 0.9.7 working with this ??

yea after you install yellowsn0w make sure and reboot,i am on tmobile everything is perfect as it was before

Works great on my Iphone 3g. Had to reset it after install and then intall Yellowsn0w. But T-mobile working great and did it all without even using quickpwn. Just do a shift+restore in itunes and use the custom firmware. Thanks Again

what do we do with this file once we've downloaded it?
should we first do an itunes restore to the latest version, then shift-click to update to this firmware, then run quickpwn?

I have a 3G on 2.1 and want to go to 2.2. I just upgraded to the 3G from my 2G on Friday. The 2G was simple to JB and Activate compared to the 3G

I downloaded this file and attempted a restore (windows) on my 3G. It came back with a 1604 error? I am wondering since I am on 2.1 do I need to progress before going to 2.2.1?

I tried it twice and it didnt work.

for me the first time it errored while doing a restore(using the custom FW of course). So then it was stuck in the sync w/iTunes screen

took about 10 mins for that screen to time out and go back to normal.

The 2nd time it still gave me the error but when it finally came to the Sync screen i unplugged it and plugged it back it and iTunes went ahead with the restore. Worked perfect after that.

though that error did concern me however it works so whatever... lol

tried again today. Twice it gave the error and stuck in Sync. No luck here with this file

Put your phone into DFU mode first
