wifi problem after pwnage

i recently (i just) jailbroke and unlocked my iphone using winpwn 2.2, and everything works just fine, but for some reason or other, i can't connect to Wifi. my home wifi shows up in the wifi connections tab, but whenever i try to connect to it, it says "unable to connect to network "name" or something like that.

i've tried these things so far,
1) resetting modem
2) resetting the network info on the iphone

everything short of re-pwning my phone and downgrading and all that hassle...
i was hoping that there was a patch or fix out there somewhere...
