Posted in December. After I upgraded to 2.2 and used pwnage to unlock and activate, I have no service. I have full signal for the first 45 minutes or so. Then it goes to no service and I have to reboot phone to get service back. Then it goes back and forth from 1 or 2 bars to no service every 3 minutes or so, if not sooner. I am brokenhearted. I am *almost* ready to take the thing apart and try to find a hardware solution. Does anyone have any recommendations of what I can do? I have tried to downgrade to 1.1.4, but I cannot find a step by step instruction on how to do that from 2.2. I tried to download the older version of iTunes and the 1.1.4 firmware, but I get error messages from iTunes, and if I try to load it through pwnage, it says it is the wrong ipsw file.

Help?

Presumably a 2 G iPhone? What Network?
Have you tried a complete reset?

Yes, a 2 g phone on Tmobile. I did try a complete reset with no result. I am thinking of upgrading to 2.2.1 and seeing if that makes a difference. Thoughts?

On a 2G it won't do any harm - try it and see!
