Ive had my iPhone unlocked and jailbroken for about a year now and have had my fair share of problems like everyone else and any problems have been worked out with help from this forum.
That said...About four days ago I went to plug my phone in my car to listen to some music and to my surprise it said I had no music or videos on my phone??? So I go home and think ill just resync and be done. No. I somehow have only 3.5GB left of my 15Gb of memory. yet I have 0 songs,0 videos, and only 97 photos on my phone. What is taking up all of this space?????

Phone specs- running 2.2 on T-Mobile jail broken and unlocked with winpwn 2.5

I thought I would just run winpwn again, but when I run it it just about finishes and windows vista tells me that the program is corrupted. I even tried reinstalling it and I get the same message!

Can somebody please help?

When you upgraded to 2.2 did you DFU restore or just upgrade?

If you just upgraded on a jailbroken phone you will loose space. I don't know if it is that much you say is missing but you will lose space.

I think it depends on how much you have installed from cydia.
When cydia is first ran it creates a lot of symbolic links and I think partition resize(not sure on resize 100%).

When you upgrade in itunes it can only see the partitions that it is suppose to as if he phone was not jailbroken.

A DFU restore will basically wipe the device clean and restore space.
Once restored jailbreak your phone and resync your content.
All should be well.
