    Default A problem pwning 2.2, help please ? :)

Hi guys.. Here's my set up

3G iphone 2.2 (official iTunes firmware + baseband)
    Powerbook G4 10.5.5
    iTunes 8.0.2
    Pwnage Tool 2.2

Alright. I'll try to make this short

I tried to simply go from 2.2 to 2.2pwned.

I made the mistake of going into recovery mode instead of DFU, so it failed. I could not install the custom firmware, so i had to reinstall the official software. So now I'm back where I started.

So i tried again to use the same custom firmware, but in DFU mode correctly. However, I get an error :/ (i think 1600... could be 21... i've gotten both throughout this process). So any ideas how to pwn?

A wise man (on this forum) once said "never mess with a working iphone". I have felt the consequences of that many times.

ON your mac go to /user(your user name)/library/iTunes/device support and delete the file in this folder. After this create a NEW firmware with pwnage... put the phone in DFU at the end as instructed and you'll be good to go. I have to delete that file every time I pwn a phone or I get error 1600 and error 21 also.

is I had that same issue....And this what I did....I used quickpwn for the mac and run it to put the phone in dfu mode and as soon as the screen turns white I close quickpwn or force quit....and then start itunes...and I was able to load my custom ipsw.
