Default 2G - 2.2: Restore to factory defaults (warranty issue)

    Hello!

I need to return my iPhone in case of warranty to Apple for repair of an defective button. After I bought it from T-Mobile I used Pwnage to unlock and jailbreak the iPhone. The original FW was 1.4. Since then I updated every FW until 2.2 now. The last two updates I used Quickpwn instead of the Pwnage Tool.

Is it possible to destroy all traces of the unlock and jailbreak with a simple restore in iTunes?

    Best wishes, Birke

^Yessir. Restore as a new phone in iTunes and you're clean. Make sure you backup your important info before you do, as well.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I was not sure if a simple restore would be enough to destroy all traces.
