Re-Jailbreaking Question

Just a quick question.

I jailbroke my iphone a few months ago. I currently have firmware 2.0 and itunes 7.7.1.11. I have windows and want to update to 2.2. At what point do I update to the newest itunes on my computer? Do I do it before I jailbreak it again, after or sometime during?

Will have have to reload all the cracked apps that I have added?

Thanks
