Phone not working on Iphone.

OK here is my situation..

2 G iphone, working fine with jailbroken 2.2. everything working fine EVEN the PHONE. But now I downloaded a few apps and my phone will not open, well it opens then suddenly closes.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Please this is the second time it has done this, And I am getting tired of Re-Formatting it.

Oh one more thing. I can recieve calls.

what are the programs you recently downloaded? that would help solve your problem

Can you share what apps you downloaded?

Off the top of my head sounds like you have an installer program called Kate. if you did simply delete it, respring, and reboot twice.
