Download iPhone Firmware 2.2 Jailbroken

For all those who are having trouble jailbreaking the 3g iPhone, be rest assured. I have uploaded my custom firmware that was made on pwnagetool with 1024mb partition, everything else is the regular settings.

Just a quick summary:

Firmware 2.2 Jailbreak
Tested working, with activation
1024Mb Partition

YOU MAY DOWNLOAD THIS AT THE FOLLOWING:
HTML Code:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b5f174/n/iPhone1_2_2_2_5G77_Custom_Restore_ipsw
Please make sure your file is named: iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Custom_Restore.ipsw

Thanks guys, hope I hear good feedback.

How would I install this on windows now that winpwn isn't updated and pwnage is only for macs. Quickpwn isn't an option for me because I need a soft-unlock in the future. Thanks.

Yes, only for 3g. 1024 mb partition. Activate through iTunes as you would regularly do.

This will work, because this is the firmware. All you would do is hold shift while clicking restore and choose this file.

Well take into consideration if you are going to be installing a lot of jailbroken apps and other stuff. 1024mb is not a lot, and you have to do at least 1000, so i kept it at a consistent 1gb (1024mb).

Hey guys,

I'd appreciate a 3G 2.2 custom ipsw with everything standard (root size, logos, no activation) but the baseband update disabled a lot. Cydia + Installer included.

I've been looking for something like it for a while, it 's just not out there yet.

cheers,
cube

i downloaded the custom ipsw and restored it with itunes.
and now i cant make or receive phone calls.
what am i missing?
Also i was using a Some kind of sim attachment(Probably a turbo sim) with 2.1
After i upgraded to 2.2 i lost the ability to make and receive calls.
I have read posts and they talk about a baseband upgrade whoch might have happened.
if it is that can i downgrade this in any way so i would atleast make and receive calls?
