Email app crashes after jaibreaking 2.2 firmware

I have upgraded a brand new iPhone to 2.2 firmware and then promptly jailbroke it with QuickPwn 2.2.
Now every time I open the email app and there are new messages to download (gmail and yahoo mail) mail app shots down.
Has anybody had the same problem?
Any advise would be appreciated before I restore.

Yep, I experienced the exact same problem. I'm going to restore and try again. Did you activate your email account immediately after restore or after jb? Someone told me to activate my email after the restore, so I'll try that. Goodluck

I set up my email accounts after jb. will try the other way around.
pls keep me posted if you have any success.

Problem Fixed!
Turns out it was Intelliscreen causing my mail app to crash.
After I disabled new mail notification icon and turned off my email accounts inside the mail settings - mail app issue went away.
Hope they update intelliscreen soon for 2.2.

correction - had to disable intelliscreen all together...

It's caused by Intelliscreen. Either turn off taskbar notifier alerts in IS.
OR
Just got to Cydia, download the program with "Backwards" in it and your email app/Intelliscreen will work.
