    Default Had A Bad Feeling....Help!

I used pwnage 2.2.1 to build a custom .ipsw without a problem. Connected phone to iTunes 8.0.2 and it says the whole detected phone in recovery mode thing. I option-restore and I get the expanding .ipsw dialog, followed immediately by: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1600).

Anyone know what the problem might be?

    Default Ahaaaaaa.....

The key is: NEVER PANIC!!! Grab a beverage, Google iTunes 1600 error, and Bingo! It turns out that when you get to the pwnage screen wher it asks if the phone has been pwned before and you say YES, it pretty much leaves you on you own to get the phone into RECOVERY MODE. The CORRECT way is:

    1.Power OFF phone.

    2. Hold HOME button and plug in USB cable.

    3. Continue to hold HOME button until you see the RECOVERY GUY on the screen.

    4. iTunes will pop up with recovery mode dialog.

    5. Click OPTION-RESTORE and navigate to your 2.2 pwned custom firmware.

    6. Grab another beverage!

An update: I am up to the part where iTunes asks if I would like to restore my phone from a previous backup. When I pwned for the first time (2.1) I said NO. This time I said YES, because I want all my new ceacked apps back without having to restore them one by one. I saw 1 very scary thing....there was no network showing on the screen before the iTunes restore. The phone is just re booting after the restore........now it says Sync in Progress.....and.......it is installing all the previous apps. Now I just HOPE the network is picked up after the restore is done.

    STAY TUNED
