2G problem with jb 2.2 phone

i have an original 2g phone that I recently upgraded from 1.1.4 to 2.2 and did so via restore and update.. Ran for a day without problems then decided to jailbreak my phone.. nothing weird happened and everything seemed to be working great... Well i have come across an issue where when I tap on the phone button the screen comes up for about 2-3 seconds and then closes.. I have no access to my phone app but i am still able to receive calls and make calls via the contact app..

Secondly when in a phone call the screen with the end call button, mute and all that good stuff does not show up on the green bar up that says press to return to call.. I hit it.. the bar goes away for 2-3 seconds then returns giving me no access to that either..

Third anytime I reboot my phone or install a new app ALL of my apps rearrange themselves even the bottom dock..

Anybody else had this problem or know how to fix it besides a restore... I already did a search on it and looked to several posts where others were having problems but nothing looked related.. Another side note I have been unable to get customize to boot and stablize.. Thought it may be related to I uninstalled but still having the same problem

bugged me too much.. just did a restore.. problem fixed even after JB.. however i think it may be related to this if anybody else has the same problem

i got the same problem i restore my iphone 3 times all ready. now my iphone is not jailbreak its boring i hope somebody can help us to this problem .

Sounds like you have Kate installed from RIP Dev. You need to restore your phone back to 2.2 and never install that app ever again.

sounds like user errors. i just did a jailbreak on for 2.2 on a 2g iphone and its been working perfect.

HAHAHAHA i totally remember that app messing EVERYTHING up. for real on this one
