jailbreak 2.2 on mac

Hey i have seen the tutorials on the dev team blog and am confused about some things firstly does anyone know if the FW 2.1 baseband 02.11.07 is exploitable so there will still be the possibility of soft unlock in the near future and also i used quickpwn to get my 2.0 iphone 3g up to 2.1 so does this mean my iphone is pwned and can use my NEW macbook to jailbreak?

If you search there are many other threads that address this, but since i'm in a good mood today,

If you want to maintain the possiblity of an unlock a 3G in the future when tit becomes available, you must use Pwnage and create a custom firmware. Quickpwn will upgrade your baseband since you must install the upgraded firmware via iTunes first.
