I have a 2g phone 1.1.4 and wish to go to 2.1 firmware.Im a little confused.Do i first have to jailbrake again with pwg and go to 2.0 firmware then upgrade to 2.1. or straight to 2.1 ???

Can some also give me a link for step by step guide, as all i can find is up grades for 3g phones and they say i need to download other things for my version phone , but no links what to do???
