Need Help Jailbraking with no restore????

Whats up fellas. I was wondering if there is a way to just jailbreak my iphone and not a restore. What i mean is i used to use ziphone and switched to pawnage. When i used ziphone and when my apps and such would not open i would just jailbrake the phone with no restore. so after i did that i would still have my apps and they would work after i did this.??? Please some of my apps wont open and cydia wont open also....help..I just want to jailbreak with no restore..thanks in advance..
