I just got a 3G, and now i'm kinda nervous about jailbreaking it, because while i haven't had a total failure from jailbreaking older phones, i have been told this is teh last iPhone i will get until I can buy my own.. and now I'm kinda nervous about jailbreaking it again and having something catastrophic happen to it and be stuck without a phone.. does anyone know and major differences in jailbreaking a 3g and just an old first gen phone?

Not really any major differences....

However, if you are that scared.....use Quickpwn, it guarentees that you will NOT brick your phone.

Worst case scenario....you will have to do a restore.
