Help me figure out what I've done wrong... 1.1.4 to 2.1

OK! So I thought I found some pretty easy to follow instructions.

I'm on a 1st generation iPhone, 1.1.4, unlocked and on T-Mobile, on a mac. It was originally unlocked with ziphone.

I downloaded QuickPwn 1.0 for mac.

I downloaded iPhone1,1_2.1_5F136_Restore.ipsw.

I downloaded the two bootloaders.

I started iTunes, pressed "option-click" and chose that ipsw to restore.

The restore process completed.

I quit iTunes.

I open "Quickpwn", I choose the 2G iphone on the left. It tells me it is the wrong firmware.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help!

You need to use Quickpwn version 1.1 for mac.

Version 1.0 does not support firmware 2.1

PS- If you want to keep your iphone "unlocked", then I would use Pwnage....NOT quickpwn.

Thanks, I'm working with the newest version of Pwnage, once I figured out there was a new version of Pwnage. What's frustrating is that both Quickpwn and Pwnage told me that I was using the most updated version.... even though I was not. GRRR

Wish me luck!

Thanks for your reply!
