Random lag after QuickPwn'ing 2.1

Is anyone else having lag issues with their 3G after jailbreaking with quickpwn? Here are some of the issues I'm having:

Up to 10 sec lag when opening SMS
Random Safari spaz out and returns to Home screen
Random keyboard lag
Slow to open contacts and scrolling is not very smooth
Slow to also open up Weather

I upgraded from my 2G and I was running 1.0.2 Jailbroken and it was much faster as far as far as processing with regular navigating throughout the phone. Any suggestions on how to get it to perform a little quicker? I thought it would be faster than my old 2G but it's the other way around!
