Help.. WinPwn 2.5beta crashes..

Hello people, Im trying to unlock my g3 and im doing everything good, but when my phone goes into dfu for some reason WinPwn 2.5beta crashes and closes down... anybody has an idea why this happens? thank u for ur help in advance..

Winpwn. or any other program cannot unlock a 3G... just jailbreak. I suggest using quickpwn for that so you can upgrade to FW 2.1.

i meant jailbreak... so whats the difference from a quickpwn?

quickppwn doesnt create a .ipsw, it just jailbreaks your iphonewith a few simple steps.
with winpwn, you create a custome jailbroken .ipsw and use itunes to install it.

it does create the .ipsw and then the program crashes... im gonna see if it works

ive tried quickpwn and the other way but when i go to do the restore with itunes it still asks to be activated by att. any help would be greatly appreciated. I originally jail broke it a year ago and was just fine till it tried to upgrade to 3.0. now it wants to be reactivated. its a first generation iphone. Any Ideas or a push in the right direction??? any help would greatly be appreciated!
