Hi.

I have been searching and searching but there are no answers to my prayers. Hope someone here can help me out.

I have gotten a 2G iPhone from my friend.

I've tried using Winpwn 2.5 to pwn it. I did everything according to the instructions shown by Winpwn.

Here's the thing:

After winpwn have asked me where to save the custom firmware and is about to start building the custom firmware, it just stop and showed me the error "Access to the path 'bl39.bin' is denied. Application will close".

I have tried re-downloading those bootloaders from all sorts of places including modmyi.com. But nothing worked... What is wrong?

Problem 2:

I have tried pwning the 2G iPhone with Pwnage Tool 2.1 on Mac.

Problem is after the whole process, my 2G iPhone is working fine. But not unlock!! No carrier on the top. Can't make calls or receive any....

Kept trying and sometimes I ended up with a jailbreak & unlock 2G iPhone with firmware 2.1 showing my carrier on the top. But still can't call out or receive calls.... Tried putting in different SIM cards and they are all the same. Cannot receive or make calls....


Can someone please please help me on this? I'm going bonkers....
