upgrade from 2.0 -> 2.2?
im sure this has been discussed, so i apologize...if anyone can direct me to a definitive solution, id be grateful.
i upgraded my 2g iphone to 2.0 and pwned back when it came out, but have not upgraded the firmware since. questions: is it possible to pwn the 2.2 firmware?; is it worth it?; is it simple, or does it require going back to 1.4, etc?;
im an ATT customer also. thanks.

The reason I haven't use the PWN feature yet is that I don't want it to install the pineapple logo. If I use PWN, will it put that back on?

Finally back to the iPhone. Just bought it today from AT&T. It has 2.1 firmware. What's the easiest way to jailbreak this? It's been a while since I have done anything with an iPhone.

Ugh I hate having to pwn it, because I'm constantly having to reinstall all my Cydia apps. That sucks about the custom logos, though. I really do hate those.

I have apt backup, haven't had to use it yet. I am kind of a noob when it comes to messing with the iPhone. How exactly does that work?
And again, I never used QuickPwn (Obviously). There is really an option right there that makes it so that you can NOT use their custom boot logos?
Finally, where is the app "Logo Me." Cydia or the App store?

AptBackup when installed on your phone, you simply go into the app select backup, (This backups your cydia apps not your appstore apps) it creates a list of all the cydia apps and is stored within itunes backup. Once your restore your phone thru itunes and restore to backup you simply jailbreak your phone and install aptbackup, go into it and select restore! These instructions came from the app when you open it up.
As for QuickPwn it does give you the option to keep your current logo or to use the pineapple. Logo Me is in cydia under the system section from the big boss repo i think.
Hope this helps!

It does! Thanks so much! I can't wait to try it out. So I am assuming that when you do QuickPwn, it doesn't delete your cydia apps, right?

When you QuickPwn your phone you will not have any of your previous cydia apps on it until you dl Aptbackup and perform the steps in my previous post, but make sure you backup through apt and backup in itunes before you perform a restore and jailbreak.
