Few Questions before Jailbreaking

Ok, so my 1.1.4 itouch is currently jailbroken with ZiPhone(yes, i know, bad idea). So since you guys say that the Pwn process is the best way to jailbreak, i was wondering if there was anything i had to do with my software, because apparently ZiPhone downgrades my baseband or whatever. Just wondering if any of this is necessary before i jailbreak with Pwnage. Also, what is the difference between Quickpwn and WinPwn, and which is the best to use?
thanks in advance.

Nope, you don't have to do anything about the baseband. When you move to 2.x, it automatically updates.

Winpwn lets you create a custom firmware which you can then restore your phone with in itunes, thus jailbreaking it.
Quickpwn hacks into a iphone and jailbreaks it without the need for a restore.

I'd say Quickpwn, it's the easiest method.

I make it my duty to outdo you at least once whenever I'm online.

Or multiple times. It's really got a lot to do with how bored I am at the time.

if its necessesary to upgrade the baseband, wouldnt i need to use winpwn then? as for quickpwn, does that jailbreak an ipod even if it is already jailbroken?

ok, ive done a little bit of research about winpwn and quickpwn, (this might sound stupid) but im just wondering, is it possible to jailbreak even tho i have ziphone installed? or will i have to do a restore and then jailbreak? as for the custom ipsw, people say that i should get custom 2.0. isnt the real 2.0 needed to create a custom version, or can i just use 1.1.4 and do the whole bl39/bl46.bin way?
thanks in advance =)

Restore and jailbreak. It's always the best tactic to start out with a blank slate.

On another note, to use quickpwn you'll have to restore 2.x first. Winpwn, you don't really have to, I'd still recommend it though.

from what i know, all firmwares are free for the iphone.
but you had to pay $10 for the ipod touch 2.0 firmware, which i now dont need to worry about because i can download the leaked ipsw.
