Upgrading my unlocked 1.1.2 iphone to firmware 2.02 unlocked
Hi all I just have a few questions regarding my upgrading my iphone from version 1.1.2 - 2.02...First ill start off by saying yes I have fallen off on the upgrading and am really behind. Well these are my three questions if someone would gladly help me out in answering them. BTW I am on OSX and using pwnage 2.0
1. Pwned: Since my iphone is unlocked and jailbroken at 1.1.2 does that mean that it is already pwned and i wont have to "pwn" it again wen upgrading to 2.02 and unlocking? (Im not quite sure what pwned means to be honest sorry lol)
2. Using someone else's 2.02 firmware download: When I tried to download the latest firmware from Itunes, it gave me firmware 2.1...I am not sure if thats is what I am using so i thought about using my cousin's 2.02 firmware that he downloaded when upgrading to 2.02..so I went in his Iphone Software Update folder and was planning on using the firmware he downloaded. Is that possible or is every firmware downloaded from Itunes different for each person? because the firmware in the guide was different from his.
3. Using firmware 2.1 instead: Since i downloaded the 2.1 firmware from Itunes as stated in my previous question...is it possible for me to use that instead of the 2.0 firmware upgrade using Pwnage 2.0?
...I kno I kno alot of paragraphs and alot of reading
but for the ppl that decided to read neways to help..Thanks in advance for the help!

I always download the firmwares from itunes. Just my preff'.
when using pawnge and building your bundle its going to direct you to get into DFU mode. When you do get into dfu mode and go to the next step which is opening itunes, you might to restore it to your custom firmware, itunes might give you a 1600 error.
Just disconect from itunes, reboot your phone and reopen itunes, plug your phone in and simply Option + click do a normal restore.
1600 errors drove me crazy.
