jailbreak on 2.1 slow phone?

i notice with jailbreaking 2.1 my phone is slowwwwwww texts loaded so slowly that i decided to restore and not re-jailbreak, my friend (who loves men) also is having this issue.. any ideas? i read thru but didnt really see a exact anwser..

I'm sorry to hear about your friend; judging by previous posting you seem to be sadly headed in a similar direction.

As for your speed issues I have noticed that it is rather apparent when using a jailbroken device and hope that someone can shed some light on this situation. I would love to jailbreak but have relinquished jailbreaking until it stops effecting device performance.

im experiencing the same problem aswell....im thinking about downgrading to 2.0 again..
