Unlocked phone via quickpwn...wont accept sim?
I followed the guide and everything went as planned...however!! When i put my sim card in it says connect to itunes...so i do and it then tells me that the sim card is not from a supported carrier, to activate insert a sim from a supported carries. This was with an orange sim, but if i put an O2 sim in, it allows the phone to start but says "no service" in the top left corner.
Have i dont something wrong here?

Make sure your card is in the phone when you are jailbreaking it.

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

In progress before i read that and i didnt put the correct sim in before hand GRRRRR
If it doesnt work ill try it again with teh orange sim in. Thanks for the reply, ill let you know how i get on as i am getting increasingly frustrated with this!! It all appears to work, it even says "Quickpwn appears to have completed sucessfully" APPEARS!! lol
Back in 15 mins to let you know how i got on
Again....
The Pwnage process appears to have completed successfully. Please wait for your device to reboot in its newly modified state.....
Once its done its bit i unlock the screen and i get the message "Waiting for activation, this may take some time"
I dismiss that and put the orange sim in and i get the same "Different SIM detected, please connect to itunes" which promptly tells me that the sim card in this iphone does not appear to be supported.
HELP!!
Even with the correct sim in i still gwet the "Different SIM detected" message

Ok, i am now sooo close to giving up on this its unreal.
The phone worked ofr a few hours so i have no idea why it now will not work!!
Anyhow...i have a question. When you use winpwn and you get the sucess message, winpwn appears to still be doing something, but crashes shortly afterwards. I was doing it in expert mode so that i could resize the partitian and with the expert mode box on the right hand side you can see it puts the phone in DFU mode, then into recovery mode, then crashes. Should winpwn then continue and allow me to restore my own ipsw? The guide says to shift+restore so im presuming it means via itunes.
I could really do with some help on this, im even willing to pay someone to do it if you can recommend the best place! lol. I just want it working!!!
