Next best method to Quickpwn?

Hi All,

Im getting really frustrated with this! lol

Ive managed to get the phone firmware updated to 2.1 as suggested in this guide:

But quickpwn keeps crashing on me, then i have to restore the phone and activate it again.

Not sure if this is an issue with quickpwn or my old *** laptop so im going to give it a go on a different machine...but failing that, what is the next best method to unlock and jailbreak a first gen phone?

ignore this thread...ive managed to do it by attempting it on a computer that isnt 85 years old!

iPhone is just going through the motions now after the quickpwn process finished....flashing baseband what ever that means!
