Upgraded to 2.1 but lost all music?

Hey Guys,

I successfully upgraded my 1st gen iPhone to version 2.1 yesterday but have lost all my music since then. Does anybody know how to overcome this? I can see & play my library perfectly in iTunes but my iPhone contains no music at all

Any help very much appreciated, thanks.

Uhh, obviously I decided to post here AFTER SYNC DIDN'T WORK i.e. photos syncd but music didn't.

If you are managing your music manually, sounds like the iPhone music playlist is no longer checked in iTunes to sync to your iPhone, or the playlist doesn't exist any more.

IIRC, this happens if you have set up the iPhone as a new iPhone, and not as doing a restore after the upgrade.

If your phone is jailbroken you should almost never use the upgrade feature. Always best to restore... set the phone up as NEW.. then resync.

can someone message me and explain to me how i jailbreak my iphone so i can put themes and stuff on it cause im not sure how to

Uhh, obviously you didn't choose any playlists to sync

All checkboxes were ticked in iTunes to sync music with phone but as far as iTunes was concerned my phone was previously synced to my original playlist.
