Upgrade to 2.1 firmware
Hi guys.
I wsa reading thru posts and saw people having error 6,1600 ect.
Well i had those last night when i was upgrading.
Spent 4 hours and finally MAU! everything worked.
I had original 1.1.4 firmware iphone 2g
then pwned to 2.0.1 unlock/jailbreak with winpwn... worked fine for 2 months.
last night tried to upgrade to 2.0.2 and problems started.
and i was stuck in recovery mode.
googled and rade bunch of post on modmyi.com sites.
Finally here is solution that worked for me.
1. Using itunes 7.7 upgraded directly to 2.1 firmware.download it from apple.
2. to upgrade download firmware to desktop and shift+restore in itunes.
3. after the upgrade was done i had unlocked phone needibg acivation.
4. then download pwnage 2.1, bootloaders
5. extract pwnage and select phone finally select installer, cydia, unlock
6. finally select boot files
7. in about 15min your phone will be running 2.1 firmware.
8. installl tzones hack and add APN wap.voicestream.com for edge settings
I did this as i had no choice and my phone was stuck.but i think this should work for others to.
Any comments are appreciated

thats fine I jsut dont really see how this is anything other than running a fresh 2.1 install before doing the jailbreak install. That is standard procedure. Not getting critical just wondering if I missed something is all.
