battery, icon issues possible from jailbreaking...

I'm not sure if any of this is related. I jail breaked about 10 days ago everything seems to be working properly. I downloaded Kate for a 5 icon dock and last night a few times after downloading the 5 icon dock my iphone seemed to become unstable all my icons reset a number of times. I would organize them again and restart the springboard and they would reset again. After that I uninstalled the 5 icon dock and went back to kate and kate said my 5 icon dock was on I would turn it off restart SB and it would not allow me to add 5 icons to the dock.

This morning I forgot to charge my iphone last night so when I was charging this morning when the battery meter goes to show charging it would not fill the whole battery say it would look like 3/4 of the way there..and wouldn't go to full..I just re-pawned my iphone again cause I thought maybe I had some software corruption or something. So far my icons are working again properly but still unable to do a 5 icon dock. I was wondering if anyone has experienced these problems. I wont know about my battery level until I charge my iphone. I'm headed off to class...

I've heard tons of problems with Kate. Don't install this. Wait for another program to come with the 5 dock icons.

yeah I think everyone is right. Kate is messing everything up. I keep getting alot of problems from it. They said it was updated to work properly but I will uninstall it and will have to re-run pwnage. Now I'm unable to dial out to any numbers my phone icon is wacked.

Does anyone know if when you pawn an iphone does it re write the firmware on the iphone currently with the newest firmware or does it like do it and basically add another file. I guess I'm trying to say does a pawn re-write all the present firmware on the phone. Instead of just adding onto it ? I'm not much familiar with unix and such..I also had a few other questions...Thanks all

When you run the pawn process does anyone even use itunes or run quickpwn software hook up the phone add the proper file. I read somewhere else that they said to use itunes 7.7 and hold down a button a DFU will come up and ask for the file and then go thru that process. I don't think it matters but I was just checking. Usually I just run quick PWN and go from there. Well Kate is uninstalled and I will have to see how it works from here...
