    Default Not booting properly?

I finally found time to Quickpwn my girlfriend's iPhone 3G on 2.1 (a week after I pwned my iPhone 3G) and not everytime I restore from her last back up, there is a constant loop of rebooting. The apple logo comes up, an then there is the loading ring on the bottom of the apple. She has too many contacts and other things that she doesn't want to re-enter. I've restored and jailbroke about 11 times tonight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're not having this before restoring the back-up then most probably some app is causing this behavior...

Some apps that can cause this are 'Kate' and the 'Five dock Icon' app...

Revert to the previous FW...back up and see what apps you can do without...Uninstall them...then update and pwn to the latest FW...

    Cheers...

So I have to reinstall 2.0.2, and then Jailbreak to uninstall those programs? If not, how else would I uninstall them? Thanks.

You have to back to where you were before...

    I.e. the pwn-end 2.0.2 firmware...

Then put back your back-up with all the installed apps...contacts...etc...

    Uninstall what you don't need...

Then upgrade and pwn to 2.1...

    Cheers..

Are you loading the backup with contacts? That might be your problem. Next time backup conracts in a program like Microsoft Outlook (dunno what a Mac equivalent is), that way you won;t really LOSE them. Try doing a fresh restore witout loading the backups. At least you can see if the issue still persists

How do I get back to where I was? Do I just restore to 2.0.2 and then Quickpwn? I'm not sure how I get back to where I was?

Restore to 2.1. Set up as new phone. Sync contacts. Done.

My contants are saved in the backup, they're not backed up anywhere else.

Yes they are. They are on your computer, probably in Windows Address Book.
