restoring problem

i tried restoring my iphone using this webiste iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your 2.1 2G iPhone Using QuickPwn (Windows) (Comments)

and when i was in the step shift + restore and select the back up it starts restoring the phone but then says that theres an error 5 and it stops, but my says connect to itunes to restore how ever i cant restore with that ipsw file... what can i do ? is there any other ipsw file i can use for quickpwn ???

i have 3g iphone and using windows xp

Have you just tried to redo it? Is there a picture of a pineapple and a blue window on your screen when the phone is in dfu mode?

in the tut it first says i need to restore it with that ipsw pressing shift + restore and selecting that file in itunes b4 installing quickpwn, and yes i have tried this 3 times :S

maybe the ipsw is wrong bcuz it says (2g) and my phone is 3g or its just plain wrong i dont knw, help!!!

i know what went wrong the ipsw was for ipod 2g silly me this is the tut for 3g iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your 2.1 3G iPhone Using QuickPwn (Windows) thanks anyways !

YOU NEED the 3G ispw for this to work. IT WILL NOT work with the 2G ipsw
