No service after 2.1 upgrade......

i had my iphone 3g jailbroken when the new firmware came out. I have tried several times to re-jailbreak after the new 2.1 firmware, however every time i jailbreak using pwnage i loose cell service. a quick restore and i have service again but not on jailbroken phone.....any ideas?

I am on the same boat!

For some reason, I can not get any service after running Pwnage with the 2.1 software.

I tried the following w/o success...

1. Restore the iPhone with last backup.
2. Bootneuter just give me a reboot on the iPhone.

I am still trying a couple of things and will post back if someone got ay success finding the the problem!

I tried to create a custom file with the expert mode and did not check the Activate the phone checkbox.

It is showing now signal. :-)

ya if u pwn it using expert mode u have to make sure uncheck activate under general... if its still not working then i dunno

That is the most common reason why you lose service. That should solve your problem.
