Winpwn & Itunes 8

Ok guys quick question, I have been jailbreaking iphone's and ipod touches for a long time so i dont have any problems there but i do have a question. If i have my 3g iphone pwned to 2.01 firmware, is it possiable to update to itunes 8 yet?

I updated my 3G from 2.0.1 to 2.1 the other day no problems. Here was my steps:

1. Sync with iTunes 7
2. Update iTunes to 8.0
3. Restart computer
4. Sync with iTunes (just for good measure)
5. Update iPhone to 2.1 through iTunes (after updating, it restored from back up without even asking)
6. Close iTunes
7. Open QuickPwn for windows
8. Connect iPhone and let QuickPwn do it's thing

Viola your jailbroke on 2.1

1. I downloaded a custom firmware from this site.
2. I upgraded to iTunes 8.
3. I performed a backup.(Just in case I received a restore error. Which I didn't)
4. I then did a shift+restore in iTunes selecting the pwned firmware found on MMI.
5. I set up as a new phone.

You can also restore from your backup if you like, but I always like to start out new so I don't bring any apparent/unapparent bugs to my new set up.
