Cannot Unlock

I tried unlocking and jailbreaking my iPhone and nothing is happening. I used the Pwnage Tool 2.0. I go through all the steps with the Pwnage software and at the end it tells me Im in DFU mode but even though it says that I dont go through all the steps that are in the "Pwnage 2.0 Guide". It never asks me nothing about the bootloader. All it does is builds the IPSW file and then it tells me its ready for me to go into itunes. I go into itunes 8 and I pick the IPSW file to restore it. It goes through a couple of stepsreparing iPhone...,restoring iPhone....,verifying iPhone...,restore to factory settings... After it does all that it tells me that there was an unknown error. Another thing it said was "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred(1600). I downloaded both the Pwnage and Bootloader from this site so I dont know what the problem is?????
