setup is -
Desktop: iTunes 8.0 used with my iPod
Laptop: iTunes 7.6 used with my iPhone (1.1.4)

So i downloaded a clip off of iTunes on my desktop and tried to put in on my iPhone from the laptop...but i get a error saying something like "your iPhone cannot play this type of file"

i tried adding a self converted movie and that works.

so is there a way to add the downloaded movie?...

i also see that its possible to upgrade to 2.1 now (i bricked it when i tried it upgrade to 2.2 and iTune 7.7)...maybe that'll fix it?
