Im in the process of jailbreaking my 3G phone and im trying to install itunes 7.7. Im on a mac, OSX, and ive uninstalled itunes 8. When i try to reinstall itunes 7.7 it wont open, it gives me a message saying it cant read the file "itunes library" because its been created by a newer version. Ive tried deleting that file and reinstalling, restarting, it still wont open. Any ideas?
this will help...every time you want to reinstall an older version of iTunes...you have to clear out the iTunes Library...then import it again when done with the installation of the older version.
